5 10 Minute Cards with 1 Stamp Set

I love making cards and doing paper crafting projects, but there are times when I want to challenge myself a bit further and really push myself to do something different. So for today’s projects I challenged myself to create 5 different projects that took about 10 minutes to make and I  could only use 1 stamp set. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! I am a firm believer in buying supplies you can see yourself using over, and over, and over again. Honestly, I love shopping as much as the next person, but I only had so much storage space and only so much of a crafting budget, so I like to stretch both of those to their fullest extent. Make sure that you watch today’s video and see how I created 5 different projects that each took about 10 minutes to make using only 1 stamp set. And if you’re feeling up to a challenge try this youself as well!!!!

ENJOY!!!

Project 1

Project 1 is an any occasion card. I used the cheese grater image and the “You’re the grate-est!” sentiment. My image was colored in with Distress Markers and watercolored. All panels were mounted onto an A2 top folding white card base.

Project 2

Project 2 is a very simple tag. I first stamped the “You are the “spice” in my life” sentiment along the bottom of the watercolor rectangle and then repeatedly stamped the spice jar container. Each image was watercolored with Distress Markers. After adhereing the two panels I punched a hole in the center top and threaded through twine.

Project 3

Project 3 is another tag, but the top of a bag. After stamping the “Cooking up a sweet wish for you!” sentiment I stamped the rolling pin image directly above. Again. I quickly watercolored the image with Distress Markers. For presentation I folded both rectangles in half and stapled them onto the top of a glassine bag.

Project 4

Project 4 is another A2 card, this time a Birthday card. I stamped a quick scene and the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. After quickly watercoloring the scene, I mounted the hot pink frame with fun foam and double sided adhesive onto an A2 top folding kraft card base. I then inlaid the watercolor panel and adhered it directly to the card base.

Project 5

Project 4, my final project, is a shaped birthday card. My card base was made with black card stock and a circle die and I also cut a smaller circle from watercolor paper. I used that small circle die to quickly draw a “hanging line” across the top of the circle and then stamped on the oven mits. After curving my sentiment to fit the shape of the card, I also stamped it down. Again, I watercolored the images and then mounted the circle onto the card base with double sided adhesive.

I know I say that all of my card were a lot of fun, and they always are, but these projects were so much fun! Not only was I creating but I also challenged myself and pushed myself even further outside of my comfort zone! The great thing about all of these project are, I can leave them each just the way they are and I am totally happy with them, since my style is clean and simple. However, if you are someone who enjoy a little bit more on your card, you could easily fancy them up a bit, either with ribbon, sequins, watercoloring with wink of stella, etc. !
