As cardmakers we love to share our work with one another, but putting up photos on the internet means they are out there for anyone and everyone. When you see watermarked photos not only are those people protecting their creations and art work, but also the stamp companies art work as well. As easy as it is for someone to steal a photo, it is just as easy, these days, to steal the stamp designs and print them digitally. This may not seem like a huge deal, but as hard as you work on your cards, stamp designers, company owners, etc. work equally as hard to put out beautiful stamps and everyone deserves credit where it’s due. Watermarking your photos is a great way to protect yourself and make sure no one can pass off your wonderful, beautiful projects and tutorials as their own and a great way to help stamp companies protect their images. So today I am going to share with you how to create a very simple watermark in Photoshop Elements and then place it on a photo! You can watch the video below to see exactly how easy it is to do!
