Hello Everyone! Again I am doing something a bit different today in that I am just sharing a card and a few photos for some inspiration, instead of an entire video tutorial. There were so many great digital stamps released by Craftin Desert Divas recently and I wanted to use as many as possible, but with only so many hours in the day, I can’t make a video tutorial for them all! But this card is pretty self explanatory and if you want a little bit more info on how I went about creating it, you can continue reading below! Here’s a look at all of the coffee themed digis that were just released and you can click the link below to get to the shop!!
After printing off the image and sentiment from the Coffee Date Digital Stamp Set onto Kraft cardstock using my laser printer, I trimmed the image down to a 4″ x 4″ square panel. I also cut the sentiment down into a long strip that would later be turned into a banner.
Using my Prismacolor Colored Pencils I colored in the entire image and also the area around it to turn it into an outside scene. Colored pencils on kraft is such an excellent way to really make a bold statement piece on a simple card. When I was finished coloring the scene I used a very sharp black colored pencil to enhance all of the stamp lines once more.
To put this card together I simple adhered the kraft panel onto a 4.25″ x 4.25″ square note card and framed the scene by popping up a Inside Scalloped Circle die cut around the scene. I used the largest die and white card stock to create this die cut. Finally, I adhered the sentiment banner and a few sequins from the Glimmering Gemstone Sequin mix.
I LOVED coloring in this image so much! While sitting and watching Moana with my family I was able to really make the most of my time by multi-tasking! If you are interested in any of the main supplies I used on today’s card, you will find them all linked below! (Affiliate links used at NO additional cost to you) Thank you so much for stopping in and spending a bit of time with me! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
This is adorable. I love that circular die-cut.
Have a blessed day,
