It’s really that easy!!! If you want to see how I created my card you can watch the video tutorial below. I will be uploading all of my Joy Clair Stamps videos directly to their YouTube Channel in the future, and a few days later I will be posting on my own YouTube channel with no blog post attached! So if you want these videos first, be sure to subscribe to the Joy Clair Stamps Channel!!!
Here are a few photos of the finished card. I think I say this during every one of these challenges, but these inspiration photos are AWESOME for inspiring me to create cards and use techniques that I wouldn’t normally create! For instance, in this particular photo, I really wanted to try and recreate the ruffles on the pillow, so I needed to figure out a way to do that. I used a scallop border die, stencils, and my distress inks to layer inks and masking to create the effect of scalloped layers on my card.
I knew I wanted to pull out the new October Fun Stamp Set for this card and use the little witch image, along with the Totally Witching sentiment. I also use this stamp set later in the month so stay tuned for more ideas with this set!!!
To give this card just a bit of dimension I popped up my stamped panel with fun foam and double sided adhesive, but the scalloped portion, I did just adhere straight to the card base along with a black card stock strip along the top to finish off the look!
So as I said above, I did use the October Fun stamp set for this card and I will have another card soon using this same stamp set. Here’s a look at the entire set, along with a link over to the Joy Clair Shop! (This is an affiliate link!) Thanks for stopping by everyone!! Happy Crafting!!
