Joy Clair Stamps February Challenge

The last Joy Clair Stamps challenge was quite some time ago and I am so happy to be sharing the first new challenge of the new year!! This February Challenge has the same exact guidelines as last year’s, but I do go over the majority of them in the video tutorial below! Also, be sure to enter a card or project of your own into the challenge before the end of the month so you’re entered into a drawing for a Joy Clair Gift Card!!! Be sure and watch the full tutorial below for all the details!! To enter a card or project of your own, head over to the Joy Clair Blog to read up on the requirements!!

To create the ombre background on this card was super simple and could be done on any card with any of the Joy Clair Stamps background builder stamp sets. I, of course, went with the Valentine’s Background Builder set and chose the stitched hearts. Also, I went with purple inks for a different look!

I highly recommend watching the video above for the full run down on creating the background and also a few tips and tricks. After my background was creating, I went about making my card into a fun shaker! I used a heart die to create my frame, this could easily be replicated with a nesting heart die set.

Before I put my shaker together, I used the new Love Languages stamp set to heat emboss my sentiment into the center of the frame. Be sure you are using heat resistant acetate!! (Ask me how I know) This set is so fun and will be fabulous to say I love you in many different languages!! Also, the little hearts are just too cute and I can think of so many different ways to use them!! After putting the shaker together and adhering the panel onto an A2 purple card base this card was complete!!
