An Easy Anniversary Card with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

I AM SOOO HAPPY TO SHARE MY VERY FIRST CARD AS A PART OF THE DESIGN TEAM FOR CRACKERBOX & SO SUZY STAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!

A little bit about Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps before I get into my project today. You may know this company by the name So Suzy Stamps (they have a reputation for their snarky sentiments!), but today it is known as Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. Like I said above, they have a very good selection of snarky sentiments for your cards, and all of their stamps are high quality foam mounted red rubber cling stamps. These stamps stamp sooo beautifully! You have the incredible detail stamped images that you get with the red rubber but without the bulk of the wood block! It’s a win/win!! Also, there is always a selection of stamps on sale – this month it’s the animal category & 15% off – and a free stamp with your order, just place it in your cart!!

So onto my card for today. I made a very simple, but beautiful none the less, anniversary card using two stamps! You can check out the full video tutorial down below!!

I am LOVING the Rose Trio Stamp! It is wide enough to put across the width of a top folding A2 card base and be the star of my card. I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder onto watercolor paper. With heat embossing, it is then super easy to do some quick watercoloring with watercolor markers! It only took about 5 minutes to color in this entire image!! Then, I was able to fussy cut the top and create a nice border for my card.

On a regular card stock A2 top folding card base, I added a bit of Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink (be sure to watch the video tutorial for the full details on that!). Then I got to add my sentiment. Again, I used a larger sentiment, Happy Anniversary Couple, to fill the top of the entire card base. To match my image, I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Liquid Platinum.  If you wanted you could easily make this a Wedding Card just by masking the Happy Anniversary in the sentiment! Finally, I added my border with a bit of dimensional adhesive and some Nuvo drops to finish it off!

Be sure to watch the video for more information and a nifty little trick on adding the perfect color of Nuvo Drops to your card!!

I am so in love with this card! Not only did it turn out beautifully, but it was so simple and easy to put together!
