Welcome to Inspired by Stamping’s our first 2017 release! We are so happy you are here. This week Inspired by Stamping is releasing 2 new stamp sets and one sentiment die to their store. All new products are already available in the store! You can visit us by clicking here!

Today is the second blog hop and we are showcasing the brand new Love Sentiments Stamp Set along with the Love Die! The good news is if you want to purchase both of these, there’s a Love Sentiments Bundle that will save you a few dollars! So make sure to take advantage while it’s available!! And today, I have a few cards to share with you where I used the bundle!

 Finished Card 1

For my first card, I started by stamping the two hearts included in the stamp set onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ white card stock panel. I used a hot pink, light pink, and light purple dye ink and stamped quite a few on the bottom of the panel and less as I kept moving up the paper, making sure to leave a bit of blank white space at the very top of the panel.

Finished Card 4

When I was happy with the stamping I ran the panel through my die cutting machine along with the Love die placed in the bottom right hand corner. I made sure to keep all the pieces that were cut, including the inside of the letters. I also cut the same Love die cut from a piece of fun foam that I adhered the back of the paper die cut with glossy accents. After adhering the cardstock panel to an A2 top folding white card base I inlaid the foam backed die cut back into it’s place and then secured all the little extra pieces with more glossy accents. To complete the sentiment I stamped “is in the air” onto a hot pink angled banner and heat emboss with white embossing powder. I finished off the card with a few of the brand new Valentine’s Day sequins!

Finished Card 1

With new sequins being released I could not help myself, I just “had” to create a shaker card LOL! I went for a really bold CAS card in my design. I cut a circle window and also inlaid the Love die cut into the circle as well, so it appears as if it is one piece. Before putting the shaker together I stamped “I” above the circle in the black dye ink and “You” below it in the same ink. After putting the shaker together (A piece of acetate for my window, fun foam as my foam, and dumping in the sequins) I mounted the shaker window onto an A2 top folding white card base. My final step for the front of the card was to lay down the Love die cut and secure it with glossy accents.

Finished Card 2

Here is a close up of the die cut inlaid into the die cut window. This allowed for the window and die cut to appear as one layer and no extra bulk was added! Also, this picture shows just how beautiful those sequins truly are and how delicate the die cut is!!! **Bonus tip** If you are having trouble with static inside your shaker, run your embossing bag over the acetate and fun foam to eliminate it!!

Finished Card 3

I wanted to get a little cheeky with this card so on the inside I stamped the word “more” and added quite a few of the hearts with red dye ink. Yes, my husband and I are cheesy and say this to each other, so he will get a laugh when he opens it up and reads the inside!

  1. These are such great sets. You could just use them over and over and over….Love your projects. What’s not to love about a shaker card, but the scattered hearts card with the thicker love die cut is really fun! TFS!
