New Release Blog Hop with Joy Clair Stamps

Who’s ready for the new release from Joy Clair Stamps??? I am so excited to be sharing the brand new “Dwelling Place” with you all! If you aren’t familiar with Joy Clair Stamps they have two different lines of stamps – The Everyday Collection & The Color By Faith Collection. The Everyday Collection is exactly what it says it is – it’s your everyday stamps. The Color by Faith Collection is more of a faith based series. You can use these for cards or Bible Journaling! The “Dwelling Place” stamp set that I am using today is part of the Color by Faith collection and would be perfect to do some journaling with, but I am making a thank you card! I started with a the tall house stamp included in the Dwelling Place stamp set and stamped that down on a white cardstock panel with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Now comes the fun part! I used a rectangle die and cut out the center of the panel. This would be my highlighted, colored portion of the card. I also cut a black mat for this panel so it would have a bit of a break from the background.

I used alcohol markers for a very intense color in the center portion of this card, but this would be stunning with any coloring medium! You could even do a more subtle coloring which would be beautiful! For my sentiment I used the blessed word which is included in the stamp set to stamp in the center of the house and heat embossed in white for the outside of the card sentiment.

I did finish off the inside of the card with another Joy Clair stamp set, the Hello Sentiments set, one of my absolute favorites! I love going in and just finishing the inside of my cards so they’re ready to go when I need them!
