Easy Custom Sentiments

Hi everyone and welcome to the second day of the Joy Clair Stamps New Release Blog Hop!! If you haven’t hopped along with yesterday’s hop showcasing the Everyday Collection, be sure to do so! You can find the entire list on my blog post HERE. Today the design team is sharing so many fun projects using the new Color by Faith Collection which is where Joy Clair Stamps really shines and stands apart! This line is full of faith based stamp sets that are perfect for not only cardmaking but journaling, Bible journaling and so much more!

I am showcasing the new Lindsay Script Alpha stamp set. This is a STAPLE stamp set! It pairs perfectly with ANY stamp set you have on hand to create custom words or sentiments and I couldn’t wait to pair it with a few of the newly released sets.

For my first card I paired the alphabet stamp set with the new Proverbs 31 stamp set. I created a quick emboss resist background and multi toned sentiment with a word block stamp included in the set. For my “custom sentiment” I built up “You Are” to pair with the word block and added it with a flag banner!

On my second card I really wanted to share how versatile this set is. So while you can build up those custom sentiments to say whatever you want, including people’s names, you can also use it to create everyday sentiments like I did here. I used the new Be Wise stamp set to create a quick masked scene and I wanted to turn this into a hello card. I didn’t have a hello sentiment that I liked well enough so I made my own with the Lindsay Script Alpha stamp set! It was so easy!

  1. Lindsay, gorgeous cards as always you are sooo talented. Love the seating area with the bookshelf. Your coloring is phenomenal. Great inspiration.

  2. I really like your card with the books, table, chair, and LIGHT. This reminds me of my best friend–she doesn’t just do her Bible study homework, she uses several commentaries, a couple of translations of the Bible, and really digs in. NICE
