Happy 4th Anniversary Joy Clair Stamps

Today is a very special day. Today is Joy Clair Stamps 4th Birthday!!  We are celebrating with a huge blog hop filled with not only current, but past designers as well and we are all sharing some of our favorite things from Joy Clair Stamps. As I was trying to figure out which of my many Joy Clair sets were my favorite, I finally realized something. I love Joy Clair, not just because they have some amazingly design stamp sets, but they have so many amazing uplifting stamp sets that fit my CAS style. So that’s what I am doing today – staying true to my card making style and creating an uplifting and encouraging clean and simple card. And I actually used two new sets that are both great on their own, but really shine when you use them together! I remember first being introduced to Joy Clair Stamps and applying for the design team. I knew that their style of stamps would work well with my style of cards, but in all honesty, they have become some of my very favorites to use. There sets are always packed full of fun images, uplifting, sometimes full of puns sentiments, and they have soo many wonderful sets to choose from (not to mention their background stamps are to die for!!).

For my card today, I made my own background, something I’ve been known to do every now and then LOL! I used the Doodle Lines clear stamp set – which is the larger 6 x 8 size – to create my background with brown dye ink. Then, using the same Doodle Lines and the new You Got This, I stamped the sentiment panel.

Another thing about Joy Clair Stamps that is a favorite thing of mine, their stamps lend themselves not only to create a beautiful outside of your card, but also inside as well. I LOVE decorating the inside of my cards for a more finished look and I was able to easily do that with the same exact sets I used on the outside.
