Hello Everyone!! Today is day 2 of the CDD Mini Release and the DT is focusing on a brand new adorable stamp set called Balloon Parade. This new set is so much fun and I used it today to create a fun parade city scene on my card today!
After masking and stamping the little boy and girl, along with two of the balloons I pulled out my colored pencils and started coloring in the images. I tried carrying colors across both images so it looked like a more cohesive scene! After coloring, I fussy cut the top of the images, leaving a ground with a straight line. I did color in the ground with black and dark grays to resemble a road.
To finish this scene I did some die cutting. I used several CDD die sets including the Building Dies, Fall Border Dies, Scene Builder Dies, and Flag Banner Dies. I adhered everything to an A2 card base and that completed this super simple card!
