Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!!! It is that time again, for another AMAZING Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop! This is a one week hop filled with so many beautiful coffee, tea, and cocoa projects!! And there a TON of prizes so be sure to enter a card or project of your own! One of the super sponsors is Joy Clair Stamps! And if you aren’t familiar with Joy Clair Stamps, they have quite the selection of coffee sets to choose from! Today I am using one of my favorites, “Christmas Coffee”, to make a fun and easy card! You can watch the video tutorial to see the entire process down below!

This card was super simple to put together! I started stamping on an A2 white cardstock panel. After stamping a quick background with the coffee beans and holly leaves, I colored in the holly leaves with colored pencils and OMS. I also stamped and fussy cut the coffee cup included in the stamp set. I dressed up the cup a bit with two toned stamping! Be sure to watch the video tutorial above for all the little details!

Before putting the card together, I wanted to distress my background a bit. I used a Clarity Brush, which is a bit easier for me to control, and a brown dye ink. Then, I quickly put together the outside of the card and added a few Nuvo Drops to finish it off!

I LOVE stamping on the inside of my cards as well and the Christmas Coffee stamp set has the perfect sentiments for it! I stamped the sentiment in brown ink and added a few of the coffee beans and holly leaves, which I colored in, to finish off the inside!

I hope you all enjoyed today’s card and video tutorial! If you are interested in any of the supplies I used on my card today, you will find them all linked down below! Happy Crafting Everyone!!

  1. I have no idea why I didn’t buy this set in my last order!! I must have blacked out while ordering…lol! Just that sentiment alone and then the lovely cup! Love your design and use of vellum to tone down the background but let it shine through a little!
