One of my favorite Inspired by Stamping sets is the Background Basics Lines stamp set. I’ve used it OFTEN and you can find some more tutorials on different ways to use it HERE & HERE & HERE. Can you tell it’s a favorite stamp set of mine?? Today, I chose a few bright colors – pink, yellow & gray – to do some angled stamping to create my own patterned paper.

For this card design I used a very feminine or girly color palette, however, just by switching up the color combination here you can really customize this card design to any recipient. Also, because I used the Happy Stamp & Die Set, you could really customize it to any occasion as well. I went for birthday, because I always need a good birthday card, but you could switch up the colors to match a wedding color scheme, use muted soft colors for a new baby, etc. Also, you could spice up this scheme with heat embossing as well!
